Our Vision
Muslim physicians speak for themselves.
By “physicians” we deliberately refer to the most visible group in healthcare. However, we mean the entire cross-section of Muslim healthcare professions – including, of course, female physicians, nurses, therapists, psychologists, pharmacists, paramedics, and others.
We use the generic term as a linguistic convention; it naturally includes all genders and all professional groups.
Our mission is to become a permanent, professional institution at the intersection of Islam, medicine, and society. A point of reference and a resource that cannot be bypassed when relevant questions arise.
This is exactly how we want to be perceived in the field of Islam, medicine, and society: competent, reliable, and structured.

The comparison that helps us clarify this is deliberately simple: when the topic of vaccination comes up in Germany, there is virtually no way around the STIKO (Standing Committee on Vaccination) as the central professional authority – regardless of one’s personal opinion on the matter.
This is precisely how we want to be perceived in the field of Islam, medicine, and society: as a competent, reliable, and structured institution that cannot be bypassed when relevant questions arise.
